Gus, someone else noted heavy activity at that time. I checked it out and, as I recall, 520 contracts had traded on the May 7 1/2 calls. Very possible that it was related to the decision, but it seems strange that the heavy volume has continued with the pullback in the price of the stock.
Regarding the motions, normally the moving party will file a written brief, the other party gets a chance to file a written response and then the moving party gets to file a reply, all according to a schedule set by the judge. There may or may not be oral argument, but I'm sure there would be in a case of this magnitude. Usually, the entire process will be completed in a month or two, but any number of things can prolong it, sickness, vacxations, etc.
