I am from Denmark and we are all into soccer or fotball as we call it. The thing is that there is alot of money in the US and when players get old in Europe they go for US or Japan for the 2-3 years before they retire. Well these superstart are really good and people will follow them even on their older days. So when the superstart go for USA soccer the fans will follow. This best explains it. You know when Jordan got back after being at baseball for a year, everybody just waited for that one move that would prove he was still in the game.
