Basic facts: The phones are too expensive, and the calls are too expensive for the "average Joe." People in far away third world places simply do not have the resources to purchase the phones, much less use them. And the wireless world "sans satellites" is making more and more inroads daily into these out of the way places. No telling what the coverage will be 10 years from now. My bet is that you could give a phone to every rich guy in the world, and they could talk 24 x 365, and G* still could not make a profit.

LOR missed the boat in going after voice communications, when clearly digital data (C*)is where the action is now and in the foreseeable future. G* is and will be an albatross around LOR's neck. And the China mess with BLS and Clinton and the payoffs to the Dems by BLS are not helping things now, nor in the days to come. Sadly, Bernie blew it big time.
