Don Magie, the person leading a shareholder's campaign to vote No on the merger posted some very relevant news tonight. Coates wrote him an email saying he resigned from the Board of Directors just before the Board's vote on the merger. He is strongly against the merger, and apparently will vote no. Here is the link: pathcom.com Coates is one of the largest single shareholders. According to the latest filings I can find (Nov 99) he controls over 3 million shares. Thought you all might be interested to know this.
