Sorry I don't blame him for starting the negative ads. Whatever your problem is with McCain, don't tell me it's negative ads - they're all doing it (witness the claims McCain was weak on veteran's issues and against breast cancer research). Frankly I admire the taking on of Robertson and Falwell in their home state just before the election - politically wise it may not be. Time will tell.

I sincerely believe the next President will be either McCain or Gore. No one can deny McCain's conservative record. Also proven is his ability to draw independent and Democratic votes to the polls. And the fact is that no Republican can win the White House with only diehard Republicans voting for him.
