Perhaps Murph went to Raging Bull or Yahoo!. Seems someone with his personality would stand out, and not dwell in the shadows. Maybe he just found another angle.

CNBC operates off the belief that they owe their existence to higher prices, I would guess. A Market in the doldrums or one in Decline hardly is good for business. Sort of like attending a go-go bar where dancers are hooked up to colostomy bags.

I don't know about the Naz overcoming the DJIA; that would seem like a neverending upward spiral. I had a similar conversation with Tom Trader over on one of the Futures threads. I think the upshot of that is something of a dog chasing it's tail. It turned out Tom was joking but I put some thought into it at the time. I presume you are kidding as well; it's really too late in the evening to piece together a Con posture for such an unlikely scenario.

Board is quiet, I suppose, as most all general topic boards become. Just a natural evolution. Tech Stock Options was blistering along at a few hundred posts a day two years ago. I doubt they get a few hundred a year now. The posts get off topic, people like you who are looking for content wander away. When the boards are fully on topic then the posting is light. There is a Point and Figure Thread which tends to stay on topic. A good thread, it may get 10 posts today, then ten over the following week.

Then there is a Point and Figure Chat thread that gets maybe a hundred or two posts a day. So it's sort of a pick it situation. Either you chat with a dozen others or you occasionally talk nuts and bolts with one or two.

Tough to strike a happy medium that suits a diverse group.
