At this point... I'm really doubtful the IPO would be cancelled. From Caldera's point of view, I think it they are likely to get a lot more out of any such deal with Sun if it is done after they are public, and the IPO process is an awfully long way along now.

...of course, if investors did think there was any truth to a rumor like this, it could have a very positive impact on what they end up trading at after the IPO.
