Question on the number of shares outstanding: I sent the following to Lajuanda Holder, CWEI:

there were 8,945,389 shares outstanding as of March 27, 1997.
There were 8,927,658 common shares issued as of the end of 1996.
>
Yet according to the first quarter 1997 statement: the "Weighted average common shares outstanding for the First Quarter 1997 was 9,104,000.
>
To average 9,104,000 would mean there would have to be roughly 9,227,000 shares outstanding as of the end of the first quarter??? If this isn't the case, how did the weighted average number of shares get to be so high???
