Kendall: As much as I respect Alan Greenspan he's beginning to remind me (by focusing on interest rates) of many generals who tend to fight new wars with old strategies/methods. Mr. Greenspan's strategy has simply not been working; and I suspect it won't unless and until he ratches rates so high that massive flows of capital will leave equities for debt instruments. And with rates at these levels, there's a very real danger of "creating" the recession that will hurt. (Lee)
