I agree with one thing you have said -- historical context is absolutley necessary to understanding the Scriptures. You cannot understand the new covenant without understanding the old and one must understand historical events as well.

That said -- you seem to think Jews are more awful than the rest of mankind. That's not right. "All have sinned and fallen short ..."

Jews have the same oppty to acknowledge Christ as people from other races and nations -- there's literally no advantage or disadvantage to being a Jew in regards to relationship to God now -- that's clear.
But, other nations have rejected God, also.
