RESEARCH ALERT - Terayon target raised to $325

NEW YORK, March 7 (Reuters) - Lehman Bros. said on Tuesday that analyst Steven Levy raised the price
target of cable modem maker Terayon Communication Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:TERN - news) to $325
from $125.

-- Earnings per share estimates for 2000 were raised to 23 cents a share, up from 13 cents. The 2001 EPS estimates were raised to 60
cents a share, up from 55 cents.

-- Terayon said on Monday that stronger-than-expected demand for its high-speed networking systems would result in better
first-quarter earnings than analysts had forecast.

-- Terayon's better-than-expected performance this quarter can be attributed to strong sales across all product line and all geographic
areas.

-- Shares of Terayon were up 33 at 262-15/16 in trade on the Nasdaq stock market.
