Anyhow, this Senator is disturbed disturbed that those FEDS meet behind closed doors Something being missed by most is that Greenspan's rate hikes are negating a political ploy the administration's playing right now: buying back debt to juice the economy in order to help get Gore elected. This could be frustrating the Senator also. I do agree with you that Greenspan is going overboard when he targets the stock market because he can't justify raising rates any other way.
