Of course the Q is going to get locked out of Europe. But I believe Q gets royalties on W-CDMA which should be some compensation.

Surely you didn't believe the Europeans would allow a free and fair market in a strategic industry like this. The amazing thing is that the US allows GSM and other Common Market telecom operators and products to trade in the US without any hinderance.

The Europeans have learned that they are free to exclude US companies as they wish.
