Company Press Release
Centillion Data Systems Announces Licensing of SmartBill Software to Major Telecommunication Providers
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 7, 2000--Centillion Data Systems, Inc. (CDS) announced today that it has reached agreements with major telephone service providers that will significantly increase the licensure of its proprietary SmartBill© telephone billing analysis software.

The licenses were granted for an undisclosed amount.

The announcement signals nearly industrywide acceptance of Centillion's leadership in developing Electronic Billing Analysis systems that have become the market standard.

John M. Cauffman, President and CEO of Centillion Data Systems, Inc., said the company is pleased with this development. ``Centillion Data Systems is interested in sharing the benefits of our patented technology with the telecom industry. These agreements represent a growing market penetration of SmartBill software within the seven original RBOCs (Regional Bell Operating Companies) and with other providers around the country.'

The new companies licensing SmartBill technology are:

SBC Communications, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Ameritech Corporation, Pacific Bell, Inc. and Southwestern Bell Telecommunications, Inc.
Centillion Data Systems introduced SmartBill in 1988 and was awarded patents for its methodology in 1994. Known for its ease of use, depth and breadth of reporting options as well as top performance, SmartBill is already licensed by companies that represent approximately 60 percent of the long-distance market.

Centillion estimates that over 2 billion call transactions each month are analyzed using this patented technology. ``Clearly,' Cauffman said, ``the value of this analysis tool is recognized by the market.'

William M. Miller, Senior Vice President of CDS and General Manager of its Communications Division, said, ``With SmartBill, we provide our clients and their customers a distinct advantage in the way they are able to view and analyze their billing records.'

Long distance carriers, wireless carriers and local exchange companies use the SmartBill system to help attract and keep customers by turning the customer's billing information into a strategic business asset.

Centillion Data Systems (CDS), Inc. is a growth-oriented international software development company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. On February 4, 2000, CTI Group (Holdings) Inc. (OTC:CTIG - news) of Valley Forge, PA announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement with CDS.

In accordance with this definitive merger agreement some of the proceeds from this licensing agreement will be available to CTIG following the closing of the merger. This will result in additional shares being issued to the Centillion shareholders under the established and agreed formula contained therein.

The two organizations will join forces in providing convergent billing as well as billing analysis solutions to the telecommunications industry. The merger of these two strong organizations will bring together a unique group of individuals and two complementary core competencies providing the foundation for renewed growth.

Commenting on future prospects Mr. Tony Johns, CTIG's Chairman and CEO stated ``Besides additional opportunities that exist for us in North America, our plans are already underway to exploit fully the European market potential for SmartBill technology from our established presence in the UK.'
