If this is actually so then the problem obviously exists with the bottle caps....I find it hard to believe that bottle caps cannot be
developed that children cannot open. And trigger Locks would be something different altogether No?

Put the aspirin in the safe with the gun, the playboy magazines, the computer, the knives, and any other "dangerous" item you choose to have around your house that you feel your children should not have access to. Or is personal responsibility not an issue any longer?
