Yes, by I believe it to be an inevitability. The larger the subscriber base, the more AOL has to spend to overcome the churn. Losing X% of your customer base per month when you have 5 million subs is not as big of a deal as losing X% a month when you have 8 million, etc. It becomes more and more costly to overcome the churn and show rising subscriber numbers. It will eventually come to an end, and since the stock price has always been driven by sub growth, this will (for bears) hopefully spell the end for the stock as well.
