taxman Why should Win2000 be a very successful product ? For a number of reasons, I speculate. One, it is a more modern operating system, drawing from the good sides of Unix and others. It is designed from ground up to be a datacenter OS. Its securty model is substantially better than Unix. Two, it is upward compatible with the rest of the windows so there is a migration path for existing users. Three, is the power of the gorilla behind it. Regards Dinesh
