It's beginning to happen now, I believe, and the catalyst is oil. WTI hit a high of $34.03 today (April contract). This summer will bring the real pain. You will soon be smiling much bigger smiles as you drive past those gas stations looking at the SUV owners' empty their wallets. I have kept my sanity (and my Saturn).
