Moyco Receives Orders for
Proprietary Diamond Fiber Optic
Polishing Films
MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Moyco Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:
MOYC - news), a Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania manufacturer of professional dental
supplies and precision abrasives including extremely fine and uniform abrasive films for
polishing fiber optic connectors has received several six-digit purchase orders from a major
connector company. The purchase orders were received after Moyco successfully
completed a series of qualification testing of its sub-micron diamond coated films. Revenues
from orders for these diamond abrasive film products, specially developed by Moyco to meet
specific customer requirements, are anticipated to reach approximately $1 million by the end
of calendar year 2000.
In addition, Moyco has successfully introduced its complete consumable set for polishing of
state-of-the-art MT-RJ fiber optic connectors. This product line includes both polishing
slurries and films sold under the trade name Ultralap©.
