B: IRS Commits $15 Million to Full Renewal of Contract with Beyond.com and ITC;
Renewal Ensures Delivery of Microsoft Products for Fifteen Months

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Mar 7, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- E-commerce
services provider Beyond.com(TM) (Nasdaq:BYND) and Intellisys
Technology Corporation (ITC) of Fairfax, Va., have received the full
15-month, $15 million renewal of their contract with the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) for the electronic delivery and maintenance of
Microsoft software to approximately 130,000 desktop computers within
the IRS. The renewal is for the second agreement year of the 65-month,
$120-million contract awarded to Beyond.com and ITC in June of 1999.

The full renewal of the IRS contract continues to strengthen the
relationship Beyond.com and ITC have established with the Department of
Treasury.

"Beyond.com's Enterprise Download technology helps us reduce our total
cost of ownership when deploying the latest software such as Windows
2000," said IRS Departmental Systems Branch Chief Dan McLaughlin. "We
are extremely pleased with the resulting efficiencies of the
relationship so far, and we are committed to saving taxpayer dollars
while we meet our objectives to improve processes and service."

"The renewal of the IRS contract is confirmation of Beyond.com's proven
digital download value and software management capabilities in the
enterprise marketplace," said Steven Cooker, vice president of
government sales for Beyond.com. "We are pleased to continue to
facilitate the government's progress toward standardized, digital
delivery of all software, and hence help reduce the total cost of
software ownership for the government."

"The renewal reinforces the Department of Treasury's focus on receiving
software products electronically, using Beyond.com's industry leading
electronic download technology," explained ITC President and Chief
Executive Officer Steve Baldwin. "It is ITC's goal to partner with
industry leaders in the software enterprise arena, and the contract
renewal confirms that our commitment and customer dedication is truly
making a difference in how the government procures software."

The contract allows the IRS to utilize Beyond.com's Electronic Download
Manager (EDM) technology to distribute, manage and support software
products across the Internet to their various sites. EDM is a
proprietary technology developed by Beyond.com to ease the deployment,
management and maintenance of software throughout government agencies
and large enterprises.

The agreement covers licenses for Microsoft's Windows 2000, Windows NT
Server, Windows NT Workstation, Office Professional, Project Exchange
Server 5.5 and other BackOffice software. Under the contract, the IRS
also uses Beyond.com as its Web-based store for the electronic purchase
of additional Microsoft products.

Beyond.com and ITC also have a $4.5 million contract with the Office of
the Comptroller of the Currency, and a five-year, $1.7 million contract
with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). Additionally,
Beyond.com provides software electronically to the Defense Logistics
Agency (DLA), National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) and the Patent
and Trademark Office (PTO), a division of the Department of Commerce.
