Hi Tim ... how are you?

I like to buy stocks that are not yet on the radar screen. What an incredible opportunity today!!

VeriSign (VRSN) is buying Network Solutions (NSOL) for $ 21B. Did VRSN pay too much? No, according VRSN CEO Stratton Sclavos. Yes, according to Infospace (INSP) CEO Naveen Jain who looked into buying NSOL as well. Where is the opportunity one can ask? The answer is Register.com (RCOM) which deals with domain name as well. That's why I bought RCOM:

RCOM just did an IPO last Friday at $ 24. The discrepancy between NSOL and RCOM is so huge such that I think RCOM should be worth north of 100. On top of that, should not INSP be interested in RCOM after losing NSOL? I certainly hope so.

As you already know, I hate buying stocks with my own money. There is no option on RCOM. I chose to sell JDSU June230 puts (SOTM option) to finance RCOM purchase. Three months from now, I hope that my RCOM is free and clear.

Right now I am looking to get PEB, another good stock not on the radar screen. This is a good stock to play in the genomic area: a solid company nobody talked abou. Sep125 put option is my candidate to finance the purchase or another JDSU option.

At this time my previous favorite PUMA has gone up too high, however TROY and TIVO still have legs to go. When those stocks come into the radar screen, watch out!

Best to you Tim,

Paul
