My opinion,

I am not as excited about Apple? Although this would be nice, I think the importance of this is often exaggerated. I could easily see Apple being nothing more than a piece of fruit a couple of years from now. It's too late for Apple, they like Sony/Betamx and IBM/Microchannel got greedy early on by refusing to open their architecture and, therefore, were doomed from the beginning. I am really amazed that they have held on this long. They do have a strong niche following, but even that is showing signs of deteriorating.

I think getting Compaq on board would be much more significant. I don't think that will happen this year, but I am certain it will happen next year. They have to at least pretend to try and give LS120 a shot or they would look pretty inept.

I think at this point earnings and any new product announcements will be the key drivers to increasing the stock price. I think a 100% increase from here is EASILY attainable by year end if the earnings materialize like I think they will. Wait till the disk earnings kick in. Wait till JAZ kicks in. I think we are just beginning. Bob, a 60% gain from here wouldn't be that much over the 52 week high. I think we could get back to those highs after 2nd Q earnings if they significantly exceed expectations.

BTW, I wouldn't be disappointed at all with 60-70% in 6 months. I just think this is a bit conservative. Currently, I think we are cultivating a new base of shorties to fry later on down the road. This with some profit taking (i.e. normal corrections) is holding back the price. I think we are seeing a healthy consolidation in the 30's which may last a couple of more weeks. I think as earnings get closer we will start to climb back up. There are still a LOT of non-believers out there on the Street. A couple more quarters of solid earnings and they may come around. You have to be patient because the Wise on the Street are very slow when in comes to understanding technology. That is why they continue to bash IOMG. They simply are clueless as to what IOMG has to offer to the PC world. They would probably also value the goose that laid the golden egg at the price of poultry, maybe at a couple bucks a pound.

Just some thoughts from a rambling IOMAGean,

FF
