kash - <Haven't been too many articles about the Intel launch.> I think the articles about the Intel launch are probably what spurred on AMD to do what they did. Find out tomorrow if the articles last week were correct. As for your other points, I hold 20:1 in favor of INTC, and did not liquidate any INTC to become an AMD shareholder. From an individual investor standpoint, I currently fall into the Cory Gault / Dan Niles school of thinking, i.e., there is probably room for both AMD and Intel to do well in the near term. I've posted something similar several times. PB
