WaveRider Communications, Inc. (OTC BB:WAVC, Frankfurt WVR.FSE),a global provider of fixed wireless Internet access products,announced today that it will demonstrate the capabilities of its new LMS2000 solution at the International Wireless Communications Expo 2000 (IWCE) in the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 22-24. The first
member of the Last Mile Solution(R) (LMS) product family, the LMS2000 brings high-speed Internet access and LAN connectivity to large, medium and small office/home office (SOHO) businesses.
At IWCE (booth 570), WaveRider will demonstrate the LMS2000 as a turnkey fixed wireless access system. For providers of Internet services in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world where high speed "wired" telecommunications infrastructure is currently cost prohibitive or unavailable, the LMS2000 offers numerous advantages.
With such benefits as a cost effective network infrastructure coupled with integrated network management, this highly scalable and reliable system revolutionizes the wireless delivery of Internet Services. The
LMS2000 operates in the license-free 2.4 GHz ISM band, utilizing secure and interference-free spread-spectrum radio technology to carry Internet based data, voice and images at speeds up to 11Mbps.
