When do you have a NEW bear market, vs. just a steep market correction... (When the Dow 30 breaks below the previous years low it is then a BEAR market.) Since THIS Bull market started in 1982 the Dow 30 has never broken below the low of the previous year. In 1999 The Dow?s low was around 9250 which was quite a bit higher than the low of 1998's 7400 low. So bears that is your target. Give it your best shot!! regards Don
