Yep, looks like it's all over for McCain and Bradley. Not surprising for Bradley. He was the only candidate the Democrats could find who could make Al Gore look energized. :-)

Arizona Senator John McCain on Tuesday ruled out a 3rd party run, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. McCain's top strategist, John Weaver, lobbied hard to make the jump. McCain would have to immediately give up his chairmanship of the powerful Commerce Committee if he made the jump, according to Hill sources. "[Majority Leader] Lott would personally change the locks on the committee doors if McCain left the party!" declares a well-placed insider.

McCain has canceled all network and cable interviews for tonight and tomorrow morning.

California exits:

Party ID: 40% Dem, 36% GOP, 24% Other.

GOP: 57% Bush, 37% McCain

DEMS: 62% Gore, Bradley 19%, McCain 13%, Bush 4%

Independents: McCain 31%, Bush 27%, Gore 18%, Bradley 13%

Catholics: Bush and McCain split: 24% to 24%

Bush won conservatives 54% to 28%.
