jw, Thanks for the tip on the new beta bios. I installed it successfully, it works OK, but I still can't get win2k to install. Sounds like Abit really thinks the bh6 v1.0 should work with win2k since they have an ACPI (I think that is power management) fix for it for their bios. But it ain't workin' for me so it's on to plan 2c which is wait for something to happen... wily
