people that understand -- decry the financial folly that is taking place -- but think of how far we've come since Reagan in the socio-political scene -- to the present political BS. The crash will be healthy in some ways, but it will be different. In '29 there were a lot of folks who hadn't expected anything but hard work when they came to the states -- they only wanted a chance to make good. Now we have a whole generation of "we-deserve-its." There's gonna be some social upheaval when the pink slips get handed out en masse ... doesn't mean good can't come from it, but I expect a lot of friction first.
