World Online, Novartis Plan E-Commerce Alliance March 7, 2000 Dow Jones Newswires AMSTERDAM -- Netherlands-based Internet provider World Online said Tuesday that it has agreed in principle with Swiss drugs giant Novartis (Z.NOV) to set up a strategic e-commerce alliance in the fields of healthcare and nutrition. World Online said the portal will be pan-European and focus on both the business to business and consumer online markets.
