What is interesting is that many, many of us saw this coming when Greenspan said he was going to raise rates. We thought it would hurt both the DOW and the NAZ but the DOW even more. And I could have told you how to reign in the NAZ - reduce the margin limits!

This is the one thing that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If Greenspan really wants the Nasdaq down then the Fed could just increase margin requirements (which they control) from 50% to 66% or 75%. This would absolutely smash it. Of course, maybe that's the problem. Maybe there's no way of adjusting margin requirements that would result in an orderly sell off.
