Being impatient with technology? Huh?

I am not defending Alta Vista's ad banner. I am just showing you a way to get around the problem you are facing. This banner is indeed very annoying running at less than 1,024 x 768 resolution. My video system runs at 1,600 x 1,200, 24-bit color, 77 Hz vertical refresh. This makes the banner less noticeable. Perhaps, you should try to reward yourself a system like mine with all the profit you have shorted on CMGI.

OK, so, you'd rather pay $15 a month to get an ISP. Me,too, if the service is flawless (high speed and 100% chance of signing on to the Internet). However, my Prodigy is having all sorts of bandwidth limitation. Alta Vista appears to be slightly better on that account. When I settle down, I will go with cable or DSL and keep Alta Vista as a travel backup.
