Twit, Beginning... End... Both reflect a figure of time... Timing is something you've proven yourself to be very bad at, given you're are now about 800% wrong on the timing of Sun.com's accent. Cisco came public about 10 yrs ago... a $10,000 investment then yields about $8.0 million today. I saw Cisco come public and I noted it while scanning the "green book", but we had a "better" strategy of finding stocks with a certain "William O'Neil" profile (CANSLIM). This ONE $10,000 dollar investment in Cisco... now worth $8.0 million... never having to add a position or make a decision... just sit there and hold.. no timing involved... I've caused myself a lot of grief over the years involving buying and selling all the great stocks... and I don't have $8.0 million dollars.. Moral of the story... timing doesn't work... Buy the best company's of the day which have some sort of barrier to entry or are first to market ... and hold them till there is a dramatic shift in the underlying fundamentals of what that company is built on, or another company is showing a better mouse trap. Only since I've stuck with some quality stocks over the past 3 yrs have I really begun to build substantial wealth.. And I've only been 30-50% invested Even if the market does turn down, the best Technology stocks are still going to preform better than the market... Because, It is very obvious... This is the "BEGINNING" not the "END"!!!! SOFTWARE, STORAGE, BANDWIDTH, SERVERS... Cheers Twit, Roger
