OH, puh-leeeeze! Get a life. Every thread has somebody who swoops in after a nice move and says HP or Cisco or Larry Ellison or the Martians are imminently taking over the stock. Yeah, right.

And I disagree with the previous post that HP was never a threat. They own the printer business, they kill in the scanner business - in short, they are damn good at mass-market computer peripheral selling. And lessee, who at last count was in that business? Hmmmm...

So don't downplay the significance of APCC's victory and HP's defeat.

As for you, Joseph Francis, why do I always think of the Smoking Man on the X-Files every time I see one of your posts? Hmmm. Fox TV has it's Smoking Man; we have our Paranoid Man. Pass the popcorn.
