Red, the Canadian tech mkts were only discovered in Nov of 99 - check your charts. They represent the new economy thinking i.e. NAZ and they are valued at only a fraction of the NAZ for a comparable company. This correction was very much needed, should last a few days, at most, and then we start working our way higher again - IMO. All of this yank money coming into Canadian companies is also giving those companies new strength to purchase what they need, make deals, expand and merge i.e. building, which creates more wealth. the CDNX - like the NAZ is a mkt based on the future - what will this company produce down the road? e.g. a cure for cancer? - a new security program - smart cards embedded software, wireless - we are at the very beginning of the technological revolution and it is going to be one hell of a ride; and it is going to move at the speed of light.
