BRH, I am big not short! Seriously, to short Bre-X at these levels you need big ganoolies. One also has to have a very high degree of confidence in one's abilities, strong analytical skills, common sense, and good industry contacts to make a judgement on this one, because the downside could be huge (and then there is the Indo factor). Remember how quickly the stock spiked to $5.75 based on just a B.S. rumour. Well, if Strathcona comes out with decent news, the shorts are goin to really take their lumps and fast. So, the risk/reward on a short sale is not that spectacular at this time ($3.00 level), in my opinion.

Of course, the above items deal with logic. Some dudes are going short just for fun or out of spite. There is not a lot of easy money in shorting this stock, because if you are wrong, you could be really wrong.
