I think the reciprocal back-scratching between Freeport and the Soeharto regime has kept FCX firmly under Indo's wing. I can't see this as destroying that rel'ship. It may mean a few more greenbacks on JimBob's part to maintain the quo as it was, pre-BXM.

I also think Freeport plans to remain a part of this if Strathcona supports Bre-X's findings (ie, won't cave to pressure to withdraw).
