Daniel, re:<I don't think Intel can be trusted to screw up the way they're doing now for long>

I am very disappointed in the slow ramp of the KX-133 chipset for the Athlon. There was a Register article claiming it will now be April before KX-133 mobo's are available in significant quantities. Supposedly, yields at VIA are a problem.

I think the yield excuse is BS. VIA is making so much money with the Apollo PRO 133A, that theres no production capacity for the KX-133. AMD better do something quick. Give VIA an ultimatum, while offering any technical assistance they need: "Give us XXX KX133's by YYY or we'll make our own from here on out." Hopefully the AMD 760 chipset is almost ready.
