Thought. . .if the markets are split in two. . .then the indicators must be likewise split. Analysts using old indicators to predict the market future. . .but there are now 2 markets. . . one played by older investors . . .and another played by younger investor/traders . . .

Therefore, any blanket "market" statement is a sweeping generalization at best. . . and may not apply to both markets. So a new set of indicators needs to be considered. . . those that address the QQQ perhaps.

Measure of sentiment, money flow, etc. should likewise be split in 2. The division is not yet complete, but for the purpose of understanding what is going on in the markets. . . this theory needs to be considered.

And if you still are not convinced of the divergence. . . check a 60 min chart on the Dow, compared to the Nasdaq. They have been moving in two different directions for over a month now.
