Paul, thanks for your post on the Intel topic, I appreciate the information that I don't see anywhere else.

The magic of componding % increases is always impressive. Yes, Intel has had a great run in the last 5 years, but you notice the trend is towards lower increase % as Intel gets bigger. Also, throw in a flat or lower revenue year, and the compounding growth % is affected dramatically.

As a stockholder I would love to see $50Bor $60B in 1999 or 2000 (the notes vary on amount and year). Unfortunatly, I believe we will have some good and some bad or flat years. If Intel's growth was such a sure thing, we wouldn't be sitting with a PE of 19.

I believe Intel is the safest bet in the market (my largest holding), but I don't believe they are invincable every year.
