what happened?

"Since then, the sales of Crayfish's HitMail Email and web hosting
business has zoomed to 45,000 accounts and climbing at a rate of 6,000

dropped out of Musashino University to form this company 5 years ago"

actually, their "hitmail" is expected to be implimented into DoCoMo's I-Mode handsets. The I-Mode has signed up about 4 million customers since August of 1999 in Japan. I-Mode is being transferred to the rest of Asia and Mexico for next launch sites.

investors don't quite catch the "connectedness" of some of these firms
