I find it very hard to imagine those words were spoken by Suzanne. If so, it would likely mean Suzanne were not in a car. If she were not in a car yet obviously very aware of danger then why didn't she make any attempt to defend herself? If all those stab wounds occurred outside, then where is all the blood? If you want to argue Suzanne may have said those words while in a car then it would mean the witness was most likely outside. If the witness was outside then why did he/she apparently not feel alarmed enough to go check things out? If he/she was outside, wouldn't he/she be able to figure out the words were coming from a car parked nearby and not a pedestrian (and thus be able to offer a description of the car)? All that probably happened here is the police went door to door at the crime scene (as they should) and asked people to think hard if they remembered seeing or hearing anything that night around 9:45pm. As it was a warm night and people were out walking and walking their pets, those words could have likely come from anyone. - Jeff
