Hmph. I've tried to be candid all along. We were talking about stuff in the future, and still are.

My previous comments are based on what each side has said publicly following the 1GHz announcements. AMD says April, Intel says Q3. I am assuming AMD is fairly confident of its ability to meet that commitment, or why else say it. On the other hand Intel could be sandbagging. I am just going to go by what each has publicly indicated, and in my case, given my bias, go ahead and give the worse case scenario for Intel.

It's hard to argue April vs. Q3, unless events for some reason turn out differently.

As of right now, today, 1GHz appears to be available in similar volumes from both Intel and AMD.
