Somewhat OT - WAP real-time quotes question...

What is the cheapest source of real-time quotes for WAP phones?

It looks like DBC only offers real-time quotes over WAP if you sign-up for eSignal - not an attractive prospect if you aren't an eSignal user.

I just got a Qualcomm 860 - one of the first-generation WAP-enabled phones, and, yea, the display is small and cheesy - but it will serve my purposes of being able to send/receive "emergency" e-mails, and get simple stock quotes. There are no other phones available in my market, and I just HAD to have it right away! (GTE just started offering wireless Internet.)

I'm a software engineer, BTW, and I'm intrigued with the possibilities of writing my own personal portal. :) Since I do have real-time quotes from Townsend Analytics, and have cable and DSL connections, I could actually do this myself - of course, I'd have to insure that I would only accept connections from my own phone, to avoid giving away quotes to the world and violating my exchange agreements.

I'm also toying with the notion of doing some kind of interface to the Island Book and/or Top 20 list.

Yea, I know the latter is kinda silly, but fun anyway.

I just discovered PHCM today, (just as a result of getting the phone and wireless Internet service, and visiting their developer website) and am just starting to do research on PHCM as a potential investment.

They seem to have a dominant position, no?
