Adobe Systems, Apple Computer and American Graphics Institute Teaching Web Site Design and Web Site Management in Ten City Educational Tour
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2000--Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE), Apple Computer (NASDAQ: AAPL) and American Graphics Institute have joined together for an ten-city tour across the United States and Canada to provide instruction on how to create web pages and graphics for the internet using Adobe's suite of web publishing software.
The tour, entitled "Creating for the Web" is a one-stop seminar teaching dynamic web page design, advanced design techniques and creating graphics optimized for the Web.
The first day is Creating Web Graphics, with topics including: file formats, making graphics efficient, solving size and color issues, animations, transparencies, image mapping, slicing images, attaching URLs to images along with using new Web features in Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady and Adobe's recently announced LiveMotion software.
The second day is Creating Web Pages using Adobe GoLive. Attendees will learn HTML essentials, text formatting, style sheets, frames, hyperlinks, layers, JavaScript actions, form page creation and how to avoid common browser compatibility problems.
The third day covers advanced Web site design and management using Adobe GoLive. Attendees will learn: layers & floating animations, saving components & templates, javascript actions, setting up downloadable files, advanced site management and utilization of CGI scripts.
Seminars are presented in conjunction with American Graphics Institute, an Adobe Certified Training Provider and Apple Solutions Expert. The seminar staff is certified by Adobe Systems as Adobe Certified Instructors and also has extensive web graphics experience. All attendees receive extensive documentation, written by Jennifer Smith the author of GoLive Complete. She will also be presenting in several of the locations.
These educational seminars are designed for all skill levels. Attendees may register for one, two or all three sessions. Cost is $199 for one day, $349 for two days or $529 for all three sessions.
