JLS - Regarding Watley

I'm glad I had Watley today. Schwab was closed for business as usual. I didn't have any cash in my Datek account and didn't want to use margin. I didn't even know Datek was down :)

Anyway, I had cash in my Watley Free account and was able to pick up some more of the robot doctor before it ran.

Watley is not perfect and it does get flaky at times. It worked today. I don't generally daytrade, don't need the direct access and it costs quite a bit more than Datek or even Schwab ($14.95 on Schwab, I trade the account too much). I got the account primarily for the free L2.

I don't rely on any one broker. They all stink at times. I guess we need to diversify among the brokers we use.

Let me know if you have any questions
