steve, Iread in an earlier article you posted that theAthlon ran win2K with amazing efficiency and had a large boost over the use of win98. That emans the new MSFT video box will also be intensively written for the Athlon too, and thus Athlon has a lock on those sales. My reasoning is the need to beat or match the Sony Naystation in video processing power by use of the NV chip in unisaon with the Athlon. I suspect they have fine tuned the machine to lock in those two parts. When this is confirmed(IFIFIF???) AMD might just flay again. When is that word arriving? later this week/month? Bill
