EDMONTON, March 8, 2000 - TOTAL TELCOM INC. is pleased to announce today
that it has completed the sale of its 90% interest in ROM Communications
Inc. to ROM Corporation (a newly formed private company). Total Telcom
Inc. received 1,000,000 shares, which represent a 20% ownership position in
ROM Corporation as payment for its research and development contribution to
date.

ROM Corporation will provide the necessary funding on a best efforts basis
to complete the research and development of a Wireless Internet Monitoring,
Control and Tracking system. It is the intention of ROM Corporation to
become a reporting issuer.
