Re: the law suit, from my reading of it, it sounds like BD is going for a very broad interpertation of their patent rights. It was very hard to get much out of. Which leads me to another thought on the matter, If you, Mike, Greg and myself (which I assume are at least as educated and intelligent as the majority of the population) can't get very much out of it, what chance would a jury have of getting a clear understanding and being able to reach an informed determination. Seems to me that it would be similar to those suits which the government often bring involving complex accounting and tax matters, where the jury can't understand what's going on. Since the burden of proof would be on BDX, then at best their winning would probably be equivalent to a coin toss.
