John, quite right, it was you with the best entry on "CURRENT PRICE IS ..." marketing, AKA, or alias, CAT's EYES MARKETING in deference to WMolloy who explained that bits down fibre are like rats down a drain = they need to go in single file or the drain gets blocked up.

Hence the need to shift the decision on urgency of delivery upstream to the subscriber who would choose whether to hit SEND or not according to the instantaneous price displayed in the Cat's Eyes.

The Cat [to explain to totally puzzled readers] will sit on the screen of your new Kyocera pdQ descendant [or whatever device includes this great idea] with $ $ signs in its eyes. When it's asleep, the eyes will be shut and bits [rats] can run freely meaning no charge. When it gets noisy and the cell site gets loaded up a bit, The Cat will wake up and catch a few rats and charge them according to what The Cat has in its eyes. Maybe 2c per minute if nothing much is happening. 10c per minute for peak time and $1 when really busy and $10 for the last couple of percent capacity. Sorry if this is repetitious, but it probably helps some people new to the idea.

Forgetting it was you was just a bit of middle-aged brain failure, which will be easily repaired with some CDNA [TM]. I notice too that I wrote 'their' instead of 'there' in that last post; evidence of more brain failure. But I dare say nobody will notice.
