<<...I've probably chased him off the thread>>

Can't dispose of me that easily.

Recall that within days of joining SI (1/12/00), and making some posts on the Ariad thread, I received this reply from Harmon Message 12580756 . I was aware of his reputation around here. I was also confident that his dismissal of the legitimacy of Ariad's rally was just plain wrong. I knew I was substantially better informed than he. I also knew that no matter what I posted, his legions would continue to be...his legions. Thus, I had to prove my knowledge, make my case for Ariad, and establish an independent reputation (my reply to Harmon siliconinvestor.com.

Ariad was trading at $7 the day of Harmon's comments. I'll let others judge the usefulness of my posts. One thing for sure: my attitude is generally anathema to making 'buddies'. In fact, it is consistently antagonistic.

So, Mike, your comments actually achieved the opposite effect than you think. You've forced me - even to a greater degree than planned - to prove my point about CNSI: that it's research, reputation, and connections set the stage for it being one of the few 'undiscovered' biotech companies remaining.

Best wishes,
Scott

[PS - It was actually quite interesting to look at some of the posts from January just to observe how few could accept the concept that the stock really was breaking out. For instance Message 12581438. The warrants closed today at ~$24 and closed most of last week well above $30. So much for mavens.]
